With the abundance of AI-created content entering the world, I would like to be transparent about where AI may be used within this blog. My overarching goal for this blog is to connect with others through the many lessons that knitting teaches me, from finding peace to fixing mistakes.
AI has a place in the world and in this blog, so here’s how AI could be used and the places where AI definitely will not:
🚫AI will never be used to…
- Write or edit blog posts: All words are written by yours truly.
- Create or alter photos of handknits, supplies, or yarn: Pictures are meant to depict real-life progress and results, so I won’t let AI sneak in here either.
✅AI might help me…
- Create videos: As a novice video editor, AI may be used to speed up video editing by applying transitions, filters, or audio.
- Create illustrations or graphic designs: If I have an idea that AI can bring to life, I may use it for additional elements on the blog or to create associated products.
- Design projects: I am not a pattern designer, so AI might help me create charts or patterns for personal projects. I have no intent to sell these types of works.
- Brainstorm Blog Topics or Instagram Reel Ideas: Sometimes the well runs dry. AI may help me brainstorm possible topics as needed.
